Background/History: Nothing for certain is known about Karuh except that he was raised with Vivi as pet. He's mostly just a cute animal with a few perks. I was about to overlook his character adaptation when I noticed he was too vital to Vivi's character
Personality/Motivation: Karuh has only one motivation, to serve Vivi. He's either not bright enough or doesn't have enough personal ambition. Who knows? He's not very intelligent as well, completely misunderstanding commands by Vivi. In fact, when Vivi (or anyone for that matter) give commands to Karuh, make an INT check to understand if he understands. If he succeeds, he does as Vivi wishes. If not, he does something similar to what the character said. You tell him "Attack", he may think, "Go Back", and promptly retreat
He's also very unlucky for a duck. He can't fly, he can't swim, just tends to get shot at, falling into a freezing lake and never understands a thing Vivi's tells him. He just even seems to have a bad luck even in a peaceful situations, hence the Unluck
Powers/Tactics: Karuh has one tactic, running away or outmaneuver the enemy. When he confronted Mr. 5 he ran away to get out of firing range. When he encountered Mr. 3, he continued to help placing the wick to burn the wax. He also is a good messenger, like when he sent the message back to the king in Albasta
Appearance: Karuh has many duck like features: yellow feathers, clawed feet, and a flat beak. The only real difference is that he's about six foot tall. He's large, but not really big enough to give levels of growth. He wears a bandana and goggles on his head. He also straps a barrel around his neck which is supplied with water for times in the Albasta desert.
(Karuh created by Eiichiro Oda, character sheet by Matthew McCloud)
