Background/History: Sanji's history as a young child is a mystery (or yet to be revealed), we first learn about his past through a series of flashbacks. Being a young child, Sanji began his career as a cook on the restaurant ship, the Orbitz. He learned about the ways of cooking and the techniques of a chef. Of all he learned the most captivating object of knowledge he learned was about the legendary sea, "ALL BLUE". The sea where all fish from all four seas reside. Most laughed at his childish naive dream, yet he remained determined to find the elusive, fairy tale sea

Things changed when the ship was attacked by the Chef Pirates, one of the toughest band of pirates. The had just finished a trip from the Grand Line and demanded food. During the naval siege of the ship, Sanji walked onto the ship and confronted the captain, Zeff. The pirate retaliated with a swift kick, throwing the young Sanji into the wall of the cabin. Sanji arose from the rubble of the cabin and crawled over the captain and grappled his leg. He latched on with his teeth and began to scream his ambition, he wants to see ALL BLUE! Instead of kicking the young Sanji into the cabin like he did prior, he hesitated. A moment later, a large tidal wave crashed over the ship and brought Sangi overboard. Thinking quick, Zeff dove into the water saving Sanji. The rescue had a high toll on Zeff, he lost his leg in a debris of the two ships turning capsize

When Sanji awoke he was on an island. An rocky island with no life, no food and elevated to high to fish. Zeff told Sangi that he has split the food into two separate bags. He continued to explain that he must try to live off this food as long as possible. Sanji than noticed that his bag was much smaller than Zeff's. Zeff replied to him that adults have bigger stomachs than children so they must eat more. Zeff walked over to other side of the island, told the child Sanji not to move from that stop until he spots a ship. It would be a waste of energy

Days passed, but Sanji lived on by drinking the rain water and ate the food that was given to him. Twenty days passed, the last day he was with food. When the days passed, he lived for over fifty days on the rock he decided to kill the old man on the other side of the island. He brandished a knife and crawled to the other side. Peaking over the cliff that separated both side of the island. He spied that Zeff had not even touched his bag of food. He dove at the old man's food bag and split the seam open. Inside laid nothing but gold and treasure. He looked at the old man trying to understand how he lived on. He noticed his leg was gone, than it dawned on him. He had eaten his own leg to survive

Zeff soon began to talk to Sanji about how suffering on the rocky island has changed him. Without his leg he cannot be a Pirate Captain. He told Sanji that many people like this starve each day, and the ocean would be a much safer place with a restaurant on the sea. As the conversation continued Sanji asked Zeff why he saved him. Because they both had the same dream, to see the ALL BLUE

They were saved later that day

Since that time Zeff and Sanji have opened a restaurant called the Baratie, where all are welcome but the truly hungry are most welcome

Personality/Motivation: Sanji's greatest ambition is to see the ALL BLUE, the sea where all four seas meet. Here you can catch every fish from each ocean. Sanji is also very chivalrous. He will protect women from all threats that he perceives. This mixed with his relatively low intelligence makes him a sucker to be manipulated by women. Sanji also lives by the a strange code, he must feed those that are hungry. He suffered so much in the past he knows how much it causes pain. He has in the past feed the enemies that are about to attack. Sanji is a pirate and is hunted by the Marines and is disliked in most communities if they discover his vocation

Powers/Tactics: Sanji has mastered the martial art of Red Foot that Zeff apparently taught him. All of his maneuvers come from his legs and feet. His techniques do not put his hands in danger. He is a cook, with harmed hands his job is forfeit. He is extremely strong with his feet able to smash boulder and able to defeat creatures much larger than himself (like banana-crocodiles and Moh-Moo). He is very quick, able to keep up with the big leaguers. He at times seems a bit quicker than Luffy!

Sanji also has a few methods of defense. One is being able to deflect just about anything that has physical substance. He can deflect blazing, hot beading Pearl's shot and even a mechanized fish warship! His also can jump very far distances to reach platforms that are inaccessible to others

Sanji has a few tactics that I have noticed. He uses his sweep attack to handle large amounts of lesser enemies, like the marines or pirate goons. If the fight seems to require a bit more power behind his err, humph, kicks, he will use a mix of martial arts kicks to even the odds. If fighting creatures or larger opponents, he will use Find Weakness to break the size difference (think about Kuroobi and the dinosaurs on Little Garden). Finally once the enemy is weakened, he might use his finishing move, the Mutton Bomb; a powerful running kick usually paired with Find Weakness and Martial Strike. The total of 16d6 Mutton Bomb should be enough to take about just about any foe, armored or not. Very few characters can survive a Mutton Bomb strike. Sangi tends to make quite a number of called shots but may be too powerful with Find Weakness. Perhaps his Find Weakness is a sort of Called Shot. Lastly, the Killing Strike is where he uses his feet to break necks. Just think Mister 13

Notice that I gave Sanji a 9 INT. I couldn't break myself to give him an 8 intelligence like Luffy, but I didn't want to give him an average intelligence. So I gave him the medium

Appearance: Sanji is the tallest of the Straw hat Pirates, reaching a half a head above Luffy. He has a lean, yet musculature build. He wears a black and blue vested suit with black almost indistinct boots. As in all characters in one piece with the exception of Miss All-Sunday, he has black eyes. His hair is blonde and is mystically covering one eye at all times. He almost always has a cigarette budding from his mouth, even when it seems inappropriate
