Background/History: Born in Hong Kong in 1954, Jackie Chan is the king of the action film genre. His films regularly set box-office records all around the Pacific rim, and he is possibly the most popular film star in the world (outside of the United States). A great deal of his success can be attributed to his incredible acrobatic prowess (gained as a result of intensive training at the China Drama Academy) and the fact that Jackie performs all of his own stunts. The list of injuries Jackie has suffered as a result of his movies could fill a book...
Jackie's first American movie was The Big Brawl which was quite amusing, while his second was the utterly pathetic The Protector. His third (and final attempt) was Rumble In The Bronx. Following Rumble's success, Supercop was released, and the popularity of that movie ensured a steady stream of Chan movies to arrive over the next few years.
Jackie's movie list would go on forever. Ones I have seen (and recommend) are: Armor of God, Armor of God II: Operation Condor, City Hunter, Dragons Forever, Drunken Master II, First Strike, Police Story, Project: A, "Rumble in the Bronx, Supercop, and Twin Dragons. The write-up uses the following as it's basis: Police Story I, Police Story II and Police Story III (aka Supercop).
Personality/Motivation: Most of Chan's Disadvantages are pretty self explanatory, although his Psychological Limitations need a little detailing. Chan's characters are often a little self centered, concerned more with themselves than others. This becomes obvious when Chan starts lying to his girlfriend(s), usually so he can hit on the female lead. On the other hand, Chan is also a "good cop," he doesn't take bribes, abuse the law, and has no tolerance for criminals. Finally, Chan is more than a little reckless, driving his car through as shanty town in pursuit of a criminal, chasing a bus (while on foot), and generally stopping at nothing to bring down the bad guys.

Bystander: "Are you all right?"
Jackie: "No!"
Powers/Tactics: Aside from his martial skill, and incredible acrobatic ability, a hallmark of Jackie Chan's fighting style is the use of "non weapon weapons" (or as we call it: "Use Art with Stuff"). Chan regularly uses stools, benches and chairs in his fights, performing blocks, legsweeps, disarms and throws. One of the best examples of this sort of fighting is in Rumble in the Bronx, where Chan uses chairs, a footstool, refrigerators, doors, and a set of skis in his extended fight with a gang in a warehouse. In Drunken Master II, Chan is seen fighting with two benches, using them as if they were paired tonfa!
Chan has the amazing ability to climb just about any surface, bouncing from walls and other nearby objects to get into the oddest places. Although this power is bought as Clinging, one could also buy it as extra inches of Leaping, with limitations such as: "Requires nearby objects to bounce from" (-1/2). He is also able to absorb tremendous punishment, and is rarely staggered by an attack. Finally, as a police officer, Chan is usually armed with a revolver (it looks like a snub nosed .38), carried in an ankle holster or the small of the back.
Chan's fighting style is very acrobatic. He is in constant motion, dodging or blocking attacks, while responding with quick punches and legsweeps. Kicks are usually reserved for stunned opponents, or those who are distracted. Chan seems to have a noted preference for Legsweeps and Throws and usually directs his target into things like tables or over railings to get them out of the fight for good.
Appearance: Chan is of average height, looking to be about 5'8" or 5'9" or so. He has a strong, well muscled build, although it's not as well defined as Bruce Lee's (at least, not now). His hair used to be rather long, but he keeps it close cropped now. Jackie has numerous scars from his assorted accidents, and has broken his nose at least once. He usually dresses in Western styles.
