Description: "Big" Jim Walker is full-time pool hustler and smalltime crook who heads up a loose collection of assorted kneecappers, leg-breakers, and other thugs who call 42nd Street home. He's one of the bigger men you're likely to meet, and certainly one of the strongest, but apparently isn't very bright, his status more due to his physical size than any sort of street smarts. His pool-playing skills bring him enough money to allow his a fancy car and custom pool cue, but his hustling habits have gotten him into trouble in the form of one Willie McCoy. Willie, better known to some as "Slim" is another pool-shooter from Alabama who's looking to get the money he lost to Big Jim in a pool game back.

"Big" Jim Walker can be found in the Jim Croce song You Don't Mess Around With Jim, with the famous refrain of You don't tug on Superman's cape/You don't spit into the wind/You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger/And you don't mess around with Jim. He could be dropped into almost any Dark Champions or Pulp Hero game with ease, although GMs might want to beef him up a bit to make his power-level comparable to the average PC's. Suggestions include giving him Martial Arts in the form of Dirty Infighting, some sort of low-end "Brick Trick" from The Ultimate Brick (such as a Rapid Haymaker or just raw dice of Hand Attack), followers (the 42nd Street Gang), and general gangster/street thug skills.
