Background/History: A superhero of unknown origins, Wonderboy patrols the skies and is opposed by his arch-nemesis, Young Nastyman. The premise was taken from Wonderboy, a song by the duo Tenacious D, which rather deliberately sounds like all the Styx and Triumph singles that were on the radio in the early '80s.
Powers/Tactics: The powers of both Young Nastyman and Wonderboy come across as a basic suite of Telekinesis powers, including The Power of Flight ('That's levitation, Holmes'), the power to kill a yak from 200 yards away with MIND Bullets (!!!), and "the power... to move you." Within a 45 Active Point range, these abilities are fairly effective, giving Wonderboy decent movement and a powerful attack. I gave him a Telekinetic Shield mainly because he'd get pasted otherwise. Since there aren't too many other details in the song, other than that Wonderboy and Young Nastyman eventually teamed up and formed a rock band, I didn't put too many points in the write-up.
Appearance: Since Wonderboy is not really described in the song lyrics, I have to assume he would look much like Jack Black in a tight spandex costume with a cape. In other words, like Jack Black in Nacho Libre. In other words, pretty ridiculous.
['Wonderboy' written 2001 by Jack Black and Kyle Gass, write-up by James Gillen 2006]
