Background/History: An abomination working for the Cross-Disciplinary Convergence Association (a.k.a. the CDCA), Desdemona Deathangel is the Buro’s (a.k.a. The Architects of the Flesh) primary mascot and corporate symbol. Curiously, unlike just about any other abomination the Buro has, Desdemona Deathangel lacks a Neural Grepper, meaning she works for (and with) the Buro purely based on her own desires. Since they currently keep her happy and entertained, she stays. But if a better offer were ever to come her way....
Personality/Motivation: Let’s be up front here... Desdemona Deathangel is evil, pure and simple. She’s totally unable to lie, has no need for deceit, and tells the truth when ever asked a question. Thus, she’s a PR nightmare waiting to happen—provided, of course, the CDCA is foolish enough to ever let her talk to the press.
She works with the Buro because they let her do what she does best—destroy things, and they keep her fed. Y’see, Desdemona Deathangel needs to eat people in order to survive, and while the Buro won’t send her the babies she prefers (they leave her feeling less bloated), they have plenty of convicts to ship off to her quarters once a week.
Quote: “Oooohh, children. I love children.”
Powers/Tactics: Desdemona Deathangel isn’t one for subtly. In fact, she's best used in situations where total destruction is the preferred option. She’ll arrive in her monstrous transformed state, usually flying in under her own power, and then open up with her Buro Bluespear. Anything able to shrug that off will get the Helix Rethreader. She’ll also gladly toss cars around, smash buildings, and otherwise do her best to flatten the entire area.
Appearance: It’s unclear what Desdemona Deathangel’s true form looks like. Brief glimpses indicate it’s large, winged, and capable of killing anyone it gets its hands on. Her human form, on the other hand, is of a curvaceously beautiful blonde, perfect for TV promos and cheesecake pinups.
Designer's Notes: Desdemona Deathangel is from the Feng Shui supplement Back For Seconds and was reprinted in Seed of the New Flesh. She’s probably best suited as a really strange agent of DEMON, although her weird tech could allow her to be part of VIPER. Swap out her technology for some suitably arcane magical items and she could become a succubus in a Fantasy Hero setting.
You might want to expand on her beast form a bit—adding a tail (Extra Limb), claws (HKA with Reduced Penetration), Teeth (HKA), and whatever else seems appropriate.
