Background:
Growing up in a small orphanage, Selphie was always the mascot of a group of children her age. She would always be the one cheering them up, suggesting games, or getting them out of trouble with their doting matron. However, when all her friends were adopted or left, Selphie found herself alone. She moved around, and finally entered the Trabia garden to become a Seed.

Selphie took well to magical training and learnt much about GFs with little practical experience. She became an accomplished magic user, and was sent to Galbaldia garden for GF training and her final test. It was there that she was assigned to work with Squall Leonheart and Zell Dincht, and started out on an epic adventure with them.

Personality/Motivation:
Selphie is a non-stop bundle of energy. She is always bright and cheery, and will always try to cheer up those around her, even if this tends to annoy those same people. She admits that she is not much of a thinker or a leader, but will do her best to follow orders and help people along.

Tactics/Powers:
Selphie's weapon of choice is an oversized, extended nunchuku named a "Shinobu." Although a powerful and effective weapon, Selphie admits she is no good at handling it. Her training is more dedicated to magical studies; she can naturally cast some spells without a GF, although she has no control over what ends up being cast.

Selphie is also trained in the use of psuedo magic, made possible through monsters known as "Guardian Forces" (GFs). GFs rest in the user's mind, and enable her to draw magic spells from the environment or from opponents. These are "stocked" in the Variable power Pool for later use. All spells have limited charges, and once a charge is used, it is gone until the spell can be re-drawn.

Note: The spells should be pre-designed, and the "charges" of a spell drawn should depend on the amount of Transfer rolled.

The GF itself can also be summoned, delivering a powerful attack to the user's opponents. While summoning, the user is protected by the GF itself; if the GF is knocked out, the summoning will abort and the GF must be revived later. A person can use more than one GF; however, only one may be summoned at a time, and changing GFs takes time.

Appearance:
Selphie is a cute girl who appears somewhat younger than her seventeen years of age. She has shoulder length brown hair that curls at the end and blue eyes. When out of uniform, she wears a simple yellow sun dress.
