Notes: John Reid was born in Texas in 1850. He was active as a Texas Ranger from 1870 to 1874, when he and his team (including older brother Dan) were ambushed by the Hole In The Wall Gang, and he was left for dead. He was rescued by Tonto and nursed back to health. Reid decided to let everyone think he died too so he can become a free agent pursuing justice as a masked hero. Now he travels the West with his old friend Tonto seeking justice and pursuing outlaws, funded by his own personal hidden silver mine (from which he also gets his trademark silver bullets.)
