Designer's Notes:
1) Godfather's 35 PRE was listed as costing 15 points. I upped it to cost 25 points.
2) As absurd as it looks, there is nothing in the rules saying guns in a superhero world have to work like they might in a more realistic game. So Godfather's better-than-an-assault rifle-SMG stays as-is. Interestingly, this weapon cost 52 points on the original character sheet. I'm not sure how or why....
3) Godfather's Followers are listed as "50 pt, talented normals." I have no idea if that means they are 50 points base, or total up to be 50 points. I went with the latter.
4)The original version of Godfather cost 424 points. He now costs 414 a 10-point decrease. While he saved 7 points with his SMG, his Danger Sense costs a lot more now, so there is no major area of cost changes.
5) Assessment: Godfather is the character that should make the average reader decide European Enemies is a load of garbage. He is a painfully cliched character (Of course the Italian supervillain is a Mafia gangster!) who's motivations make little sense. Why does someone in the Mafia work with a "pagan" terrorist organization run by women? It cannot be good for his business (not to mention that the Mafia, as a rule, have no use for women). Also, I seriously doubt he can actually be granted Diplomatic Immunity and be appointed ambassador to France, no matter how rich and powerful he is. Since he is a suspect in a host of crimes, has a Public ID, and has a Reputation as a Mafia Don, who's going to let him into their country? Finally, based on his description and history, UNTIL should be Hunting him, not just Watching. Godfather is just terrible, with virtually no redeeming features or value as a character.
