Ron Stoppable

Background/History: Ron is Kim Possible’s best friend and comrade in arms. He is generally in over his head almost everywhere they go, but takes great pride in being a part of "Team Possible". Oddly enough, experience has shown Kim couldn't do it without him.

Personality/Motivation: Boisterous and cheerful, Ron sees himself as the high school everyman. He likes to lounge around and snack while playing video games & mothering his beloved pet Rufus the Naked Mole Rat. He is a bit of a geek and is usually too enthusiastic for his own good, but has been rapidly maturing as high school wears on. He even asked out that girl from the Movie Theatre.

Kim Possible has been his best friend since Kindergarten (when he graduated from the "jungle law that was preschool") and while everything they do seems to involve threats to his life and social dreams, it never occurs to him to let her go alone.

Quote: "Bo-Ya!

Powers/Tactics: Ron doesn't appear to have any measurable combat skill whatsoever. This doesn't stop him from coming through mission after mission unscathed. While his general knowledge is impressive it is rarely directly useful. He mainly seems to provide someone else for the bad guys to shoot at while Kim wins the day. Nonetheless, whenever Kim is forced to go it alone his presence is sorely missed. Even if no one is quite sure why she needs him.

Appearance: Ron is a blond-haired, blue-eyed all-American kid from Middleton, USA. He is a sloppy dresser who seems to wear whatever he finds on his floor every morning.

Designers Notes: "The Ron Factor" is a mechanical way of trying to represent the advantage Kim and Ron seem to have when working together. It is based off of the Array rules from the Ultimate Martial Artist.

Ron's Dex and DCV skill levels may seem excessive for a character as seemingly incompetent as he is, but it is important to note that Ron can navigate laser mazes and dodge exploding golf balls almost as well as Kim. He is just terrified the entire time he is doing it. Whenever Kim brings someone else along on a mission they never seem nearly as good at avoiding danger.

His "Dumb Skilz" luck dice represent his ability to randomly find secret passages or press just the right button to turn on the lasers and destroy the giant monster.

Note that Ron has bought off his Fear of Monkeys with experience.

All in all, Ron really isn't that bad of a character for the world he lives in, it is mostly his lack of confidence and geeky demeanor that hold him back. On the rare occasions he has overcome his confidence issues Ron has been more than a match for the bad guys.
