Designer's Notes: Lilliputians inhabit the island of Lilliput, which is located in the southern Indian Ocean (near Australia). They are a tiny people, standing a mere 6” in height with the rest of their island in proportion to them. Thus, the tallest trees are little more than seven feet in height, while dogs, cats, and birds are so small as to be nearly invisible to the eye.
Lilliput is an empire, ruled by an emperor from the capital city of Milendo. Across a channel 800 yards wide is the empire of Blefuscu, Lilliput’s age-old enemy. Their long enmity is center around an argument over which end one should break when eating a hard-boiled egg. Lilliput is dominated by Little-Endians, while Blefuscu is a haven for Big-Endians. In a similar fashion, the Emperor of Lilliput’s court is divided into two factions; the Tramecksan or "High-Heels" and the Slamecksan or "Low-Heels." The primary difference between the two is their footwear.
Lilliputian society is rather rigidly stratified, with the nobility and upper classes receiving extensive schooling, while the lower classes are trained mostly in trades.
