Eons ago, the Elder Worm ruled this planet. The men that roamed Earth were not yet truly men, and lived to serve the superior species, whether as slaves, food, or worshippers.
Personality/Motivation: The Elder Worm’s motivations are beyond the realm of human understanding. The leading theory is that it wants to conquer Earth as a food source, but its behavior patterns are nearly incomprehensible.
Powers/Tactics: The Elder Worm is an amorphous writhing mass of tentacles and teeth, dozens of yards across. It is scary enough as it is, but its skin also emits a fear-inducing chemical.
It can attack with all of its mouths and fangs at once, and can ooze through most obstacles.
